Adrien Quatennens confirms his lead
Adrien Quatennens was elected in the 1st district of the North, which includes the cantons of Lille Centre, Lille Sud, Lille Sud-Est (minus the municipalities of Lezennes and Ronchin), and the municipality of Loos.
The rebel was electedafter ce second tourwith 65.24% of the vote against his opponent in the presidential coalition, Vanessa Duhamel, who won 34.76%.
In the first round, Adrien Quatennens was already in the lead (52.05%), ahead of the candidate from Together! (21.07%) and Carole Leclercq, of the National Rally (10.27%).
Ugo Bernalicis becomes deputy for the 2nd constituency
Ugo Bernalicis was elected deputy for the 2nd district of the North, bringing together the cantons of Lille Est, Villeneuve-d’Ascq Nord, Villeneuve-d’Ascq Sud, but also the municipalities of Lezennes, Mons-en-Barœul and Ronchin.
With 58% of the vote, the LFI candidate beat Rudy Elegeest (Together!).
Violette Spillebout succeeds Valérie Petit
In the 9th district of the North, which includes the cantons of Lille Nord-Est, Marcq-en-Barœul and Tourcoing Sud, the candidate Together! Violette Spillebout (Ens) was elected with 59.10% of the votes cast.
She succeeds Valérie Petit (elected Agir ensemble).
Roger Vicot defeats the presidential coalition
The NUPES candidate, Roger Vicot, came first in the 11th district of the North, which concentrates Lille South-West, Lomme and Armentières.
By obtaining 56.27% of the vote, he took the seat of outgoing MP Florence Morlighem (LREM), at the Bourbon Palace.
