Tom Brady leaves the New England Patriots after twenty years. The legendary American quarterback wants to continue his illustrious career with another NFL club.
“I am grateful for all the team achievements. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to get to know everyone at the club and to have the best memories together,” said Brady on Tuesday in a statement headed Forever a Patriot.
“But my journey as a football player continues elsewhere. I want to thank the Patriots fans from the bottom of my heart. I will always love you and never forget you. The very best.”
Brady, 42, started his career with the Patriots in 2000. He has won the Super Bowl with the club six times (2001, 2003, 2004, 2015, 2017 and 2019), but also lost the main game of the year three times (2007, 2011 and 2018).

Brady was named the Most Valuable Player four times in the Super Bowls he captured (2001, 2003, 2015 and 2017) and was named the Most Valuable Player three times in the regular season (2007, 2010 and 2018) ).
