Legalizing abortion: Activists in Argentina celebrate the Senate decision

The Argentine Senate voted to authorize abortion until the fourteenth week of pregnancy.
The members of the Council voted by 38, against 29, with one abstention.
And the Catholic Church was against it The bill and called on senators to reject it.
Until now, abortions were only permitted in cases of rape or if the mother’s health was at risk.
