Legal action taken against offspring of 550 sperm donor-conceived children born in continental Europe

The Hague: A case has been filed against a young man in the case of sperm donation by misleading hundreds of women in different countries. Jonathan Jacob Maier, a 41-year-old musician from The Hague, the Netherlands, was involved in the case. The case against Jonathan was filed by The Donor Child Foundation.

Earlier in 2017, he was blacklisted after it was found that he fathered 100 babies through sperm donation at 10 different clinics. He made so many sperm donations by convincing the women that he would help them to give birth to a maximum of 25 children.

Later, to circumvent the blacklisting, he donated sperm through social media accounts and websites in Denmark and Ukraine. The Donor Child Federation is preparing to take legal action on the complaint of a Danish woman who received Jonathan’s body.

The woman responded that if she had known that Jonathan fathered more than 100 children, she would not have been ready for this. The woman said that Jonathan did not stop his habit despite the requests of many mothers, which led to the court action. The woman also asks him to destroy any of his stored semen, if any.
