Lee Eon-ju’s preliminary candidate camp announced that it received self-isolation notices by noon on the 19th from the local public health center on the 14th. Accordingly, Lee temporarily suspended all scheduled campaign-related schedules.
Along with this, the camp added that it decided to install a heat check device and a surveillance camera disinfection sprayer in the office to ensure quarantine and minimize supporters from entering the camp.
Candidate Lee said, “I am sorry for causing concern for Busan citizens due to the occurrence of a confirmed visitor.”
Earlier, on the 30th of last month and the 5th of this month, five attendees of the event held at Lee Candidate’s camp were confirmed as Corona 19.
In particular, on the 5th, candidate Lee also attended the event, and it was found that he delivered the appointment letter directly to the confirmed person.

The public health center recommended that candidate Lee undergo a diagnostic test, as it appeared to have been in contact with the confirmed patient.
Accordingly, candidate Lee received a diagnostic test at the Busan City Hall Temporary Screening Test on the same afternoon, and a negative test came out a day later.
The health authorities classified the preliminary candidate as an active surveillance target and notified of self-isolation on that day.
Meanwhile, the Busanjin-gu Office, which has jurisdiction over candidate Lee’s camp, imposed a penalty of 1.5 million won on the basis of the list of attendees for Lee candidate camp for violating the quarantine regulations exceeding the number of meetings.
