Of the 137 riders who took to the course, three, including Chloe Dygert (Canyon-SRAM-Zondacrypt), did not start. Lecourt’s Preparation and Reflections
Lecourt revealed her focused preparation leading up to the race. We also ran the Amstel Gold Race (31st) and La Flèche Wallonne (6th), but I was focused on Liège.I’m surprised that the results were better then I imagined, but I would like to be pleased with the team together.
Pieterce’s Podium Finish
Pook Pieterce, who had been striving to break a winning streak, secured second place. Despite not overtaking Lecourt, pieterce expressed satisfaction with her spring season performance. I’m very happy to be able to get up to the Podium again. I was able to get to the podium in all of the Ardenne Classics. As I’m off-roading,the Liège course is perfect.I feel like it’s a mountain bike race course. I’m able to get a good layout and get a good result and have a strong confidence,
Pieterce commented.
Foretling’s Outlook
While Demi Foretling missed out on a victory at the Ardennes Classic, she welcomed the emergence of a new champion. One more amazing player has appeared. Of course I’ve known Kim (Lecourt) for a while and understood her high sprinting ability. I’m happy that she made her name on the winner’s list. It’s a good sign that the number of rivals is increasing, and I feel that we’re in a very exciting time,
Foretling remarked.
