Now on vacation, the Lakers will be able toget down to managing their off-season. With many files in progress, the summer should be busy in California, with in particular a Draft to be apprehended. The franchise would be on a well-known nugget, and the rumor should make LeBron James happy.

After the humiliating elimination against Denver in the conference final, the Lakers will now have to prepare for next season and manage current issues. Even if the focus is on the decisions to be made vis-à-vis free agents, other topics will obviously be discussed. The idea will be mainly to satisfy LeBron James.

Indeed, with the recent rumors circulating around a potential retirement of the King, the Purples and Golds have every interest in giving him satisfaction. This could therefore go through recruits available on the market or through the youth of the Draft. Recently, for example, we learned that Chris Livingston, one of the darlings of Chosen One, will be observed more closely by Californians…

The Lakers will start the Draft workouts to prepare to choose the Picks 17 and 47 they will have.

It’s been a few years since LeBron James spotted Chris Livingston. Already in 2021, he wanted to congratulate the young native of Akron, like him, on his networks after a big game. If he crushed everyone in high school thanks to a physique well ahead of his opponents, the gateway to the NCAA seemed slightly more complicated to achieve.

This season, the winger played with the prestigious Kentucky Wildcats. Playing about twenty minutes per game, he averaged about six points and four rebounds. Of course, the one LeBron likes to call “Young King” still has work to do, but its profile remains very promising. In the list of names ticked by Rob Pelinka, however, he is not the only one with talent.

Holders of picks 17 and 47, the Angelinos therefore have more than one player in mind. Among them, we can thus find Leonard Miller, who has already proven himself in the G-League with 16 points and 10 rebounds per evening. Adam Flagler and Kihei Clark are also cited and have already won the NCAA. The requirement of the high level is therefore not likely to impress them and in this sense, they could have a certain advantage over Chris Livingston.

By trying to draft Chris Livingston, the Lakers could integrate a big prospect into their workforce but above all show LeBron James that everything is done for him! The King have been fond of the young winger for some time and would probably be happy to play with him.
