Gold prices stabilized in the local market, during trading today, Thursday, at the same levels yesterday.
The Club Naguib, Secretary General of the Gold Division of the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price has now reached 800 pounds, which is the same price as yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 685 pounds, the price of a gram of 24 carat was 914 pounds, and the price of a pound of gold reached 6400 pounds.
Globally, global gold prices stabilized, on Thursday, near their highest level in nine years, as fears of an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus and the growing tension in US-China relations affected the impact of positive data on the Chinese economy, according to Reuters.
And gold fell in the spot transactions 0.1% to $ 1809.62 an ounce by the time 0426 GMT.
