Contraindications to blood donation:

1- If the age of the donor is less than 18 years, or more than 60 years (the elderly).

2- If the donor weighs less than 50 kilograms.

3- Whoever previously had syphilis, hepatitis B (C) or AIDS.

4- People with diabetes who are treated with insulin injections.

5 – If more than 28 days have passed since the result of the two negative surveys that were performed for the patient after the first positive survey, as a result of the lack of antibodies in the patient’s body.

6- Who suffers from any chronic chest diseases, chronic heart diseases, or irregular blood pressure.

7- Women who have had miscarriages or childbirths and who have previously conceived are excluded due to the presence of some antibodies in their blood plasma, which can adversely affect the patient who is transferred to it.
