Leaked Redmi Note 11 5G Using Snapdragon 680

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Series Redmi Note 11 from the phone manufacturer Xiaomi rumored to be coming globally on January 26. The latest leak says this device will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset.

Redmi is a sub-brand of Xiaomi, with the Note series being one of its flagship phones. The Redmi Note series already has a number of loyal fans because it often presents powerful devices at “pocket-friendly” prices.

Redmi Note 11 has already been released in the Chinese market, and is planned to move to the global market with 5G network support.

The Redmi Note 11 will come as the successor to the Redmi Note 10. The Redmi Note 10 model released last year offers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC. This chipset along with a number of mobile phones that use it disappeared in the middle of the chipset crisis in the semiconductor industry.

Now, both will be replaced with new smartphones equipped with Snapdragon 680 SoC.

Snapdragon 680 uses a more luxurious 6 nm architecture and was unveiled by Qualcomm in 2021. On the GPU side, Qualcomm embeds Adreno 619 which can also be found on chipsets such as the Snapdragon 730 and 732G.

Reported from Gizmo China, Redmi Note 11 will also come with a 6.4-inch Full HD + AMOLED screen. The AMOLED screen will be combined with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. This is one of the missing features on the Redmi Note 10 model.

Then the display panel will be equipped with a punch hole in the middle for the camera selfie 13 MP. On the back, the Redmi Note 11 is said to have a Quad Camera setup. According to a leak, the main camera will be armed with a lens with a resolution of 50 MP. In addition, this phone will also come with an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro camera.

According to a tipster named Yogesh Brar, this phone will also be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 33 W fast charging.

Then on the software side, the Redmi Note 11 will run Android 11 with MIUI 13. This news is quite disappointing, considering that most of the newer phones currently have Android 12.

The most standard variant is rumored to provide 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. This phone will also support a micro SD card slot for memory expansion if it is not enough.

Redmi Note 11 is also rumored to be coming with a variant of 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Xiaomi is also likely to bring a virtual RAM feature to this device.
