TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Oppo is expected to launch the Find X6 series in China in February 2023. Ahead of the launch, several leaks have come and it is interesting to watch.
Reportedly, there are three variants launched, viz Find X6, Find X6 Pro, and Find X6 Pro Dimensity Edition. That means the Oppo Find X6 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and its other Pro siblings will use the Dimensity 9200. The vanilla Find X6 will get the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Only the 8 Gen 2 phones have LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the other two are allegedly using the older standard.
All three phones will have three 50 MP cameras on the back. The 8 Gen 2-powered Find X6 Pro will use IMX989, Sony’s 1-inch sensor currently used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and vivo X90 Pro+. The other two cameras will use the IMX890, a 1/1.56-inch sensor, as featured on the OnePlus 11.
Oppo Find X6 Pro with Dimensity will use the IMX890 sensor for each lens on the back. The vanilla model will mix things up – IMX890 for main, ISOCELL JN1 for ultra wide and IMX763 for telephoto.
All three will have a 3D ToF sensor and a 13-channel color sensor which will aid Hasselblad’s features. On the front, all X6 phones will use the IMX709 RGBW sensor with a resolution of 32 MP. Only the two Pro models will use the second generation MariSilicon X2 ISP, the vanilla model will use the original MariSilicon ISP.
The 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Samsung E6 panel is exclusive to both Pros. The built-in battery capacity is 5,000 mAh with 100 W cable and 50 W wireless charging. In addition, it also has an IP68 dust and water resistance certificate.
The vanilla Oppo Find X6 will have a 6.74-inch AMOLED still with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Battery with a capacity of 4,800 mAh with 80 W charging and 30 W wireless charging.
