Leading group of four in an exciting Ligue 1 race, Milan remains in Inter’s wake

It is not going well with Peter Bosz’s Bayer Leverkusen. The team has again spilled expensive points, losing 1-2 to SC Freiburg. Ajax opponent Young Boys has suffered a surprising loss of points in the Swiss league in the very last minute.

Olympique Marseille-Olympique Lyon 1-1
The Lyon of Memphis Depay could have come one point behind leader Lille, in a victory in the Olympic clash in Marseille. Karl Toko Ekambi helped the guests to an early lead, but ex-Ajax player Arek Milik used a penalty just before half-time and leveled the score again. Lyon had to continue with ten in the final phase, after a red card for Lucas Paquetá, and eventually had to settle for a point.

The Ligue 1 leading group now consists of four clubs. Lille can fully focus on its domestic obligations after his Europa League elimination and has 59 points after 27 of 38 games. PSG follows on two points, Lyon on three points and Monaco on four points.

AS Roma-AC Milan 1-2
