Athletics ” Lea Sprunger will start its season on June 11 already. The 2018 European 400m Hurdles champion has confirmed on social media that she will compete in the Oslo Impossible Games.
The only non-Scandinavian athlete present at the stadium – Renaud Lavillenie will participate in the party, but from his home -, Lea Sprunger will compete in a 300m hurdles in Norway. She will face Danish Sara Slott Petersen, 2016 Olympic vice-champion in the 400m hurdles, and Norwegian recordwoman Amalie Iuel.
The organizers have put together a promising evening. Norwegian star Karsten Warholm will aim for the world record in the 300m hurdles, while Armand Duplantis will once again challenge Renaud Lavillenie from a distance on the pole. Cross-country skiing queen Therese Johaug will line up for 10,000 m. ATS
