Both positions had been vacant for a few weeks. Juliette Rochman is the new coordinator. She holds a doctorate in spatial planning and urban planning and specializes in territorial development, integrated urban revitalization and social development.

She has seven years of experience in project coordination and fifteen years in analysis and evaluation of community initiatives and public policies. Before joining AEBHS, she was a project coordinator at the Center for Research on Social Innovations at UQAM.

It will have to support and accompany businesses and promoters in the region in their development projects. In addition, her duties will lead her to act as a liaison officer with municipalities, businesses and governmental and para-governmental bodies in order to promote regional economic development.

Marilou Frenette was hired as an analyst. Bachelor, graduate in business administration, she is currently studying to obtain an MBA in digital business management.

Her professional experience took her four years in the financial sector where she was notably a wealth management advisor to a major financial institution.

At AEBHS, she will have to inform entrepreneurs about the accessibility of the various financing programs available, to direct them to the appropriate municipal, provincial and federal authorities and to help them in establishing their financing structure. It will also see to analyze and recommend to the investment committee start-up, expansion or consolidation projects.

“We are very happy to have these two new professional resources taking office,” said Linda Phaneuf, AEBHS general manager. Their arrival is timely, while our territory has experienced undeniable economic turmoil for a few months. “
