A new Asterix album will be released on October 21, according to Céleste Surugue, managing director of Albert René editions, interviewed by the JDD. This is not an album per se, but an adaptation of an audio book, released in 1967, with 14 illustrations. It is signed Goscinny and Uderzo and is titled The Golden Menhir.

Always according to JDD, the 44-page album will be published in 100,000 copies and sold for 9.99 euros. An audio version will be available for one euro.
