Le Matin – Badir Salé launches the Wakeb program dedicated to young leaders

Badir-Salé, the youth platform of Sidi Abdellah fruit of a partnership between the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship (MCISE) and the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH) – Prefecture of Salé, preparing to launch its new Wakeb program.

For its launch, a call for applications will be open until July 6 for the selection of 40 young people from non-governmental or community organizations in the Salé region.

These young leaders will be selected according to their leadership potential and their commitment to actions in favor of the local community of Salé. They will benefit, from July 18, from an intensive training program spread over 6 weeks, aimed at developing their skills and knowledge, as well as strengthening their leadership to positively impact the actions of their NGOs in the region in particular and Morocco overall.

The training will focus on social innovation and Design Thinking, the identification of community needs and team management, the financial management of associations, the development of partnerships, marketing and public relations. The program will end with a presentation of the best innovative projects with high social impact developed by the participants during this period.
