Friday April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Maison des Proximités de Caylus

The maps describing the urban areas of the municipality in the Local Intermunicipal Urban Plan (PLUi) project, which can be consulted online on the Métropole website, still reveal new attacks on natural areas:

After a natural space of two hectares at the edge of the lez, the district of Caylus is also struck by the planned disappearance of a wooded area!

This pleasant wooded area of nearly one and a half hectares, currently classified as a 1N natural zone, is being transformed into an urban zone in the future PLUi, with a UC classification!

But why remove this wood that envelops the path between the tram station and rue Michel Rozier?

The mayor of castelnau declares that he wishes to put a stop to the uncontrolled urbanization of the town. It appears once again that this is not the case.

Berges du Lez, Clinique, Caylus, but also in Sablassou, the PLUi reflects the desire to urbanize on natural spaces and land with high agricultural potential.

The development of Castelnau-Le-Lez can be done for the benefit of the inhabitants while respecting the environment, nature and preserving agricultural land. The PLUi should not be done without the Castelnauviens!

Together for Castelnau calls on the inhabitants of the municipality to mobilize to oppose these projects to spread the urbanization of another age.
