Fatih Turk’s 2nd donation
“I live in Torcy and I’m 23 years old. The first donation I had made to Morambeau. I had seen the poster and I said to myself: I’m going. Giving blood is a personal choice. Currently there is a lack of blood, making a donation is a useful gesture. I am not afraid of bites and whenever I can I will do it again. »
Jean-Marc Bouvret’s last donation
“I will be 71 on September 17. After that it will be over. This is my 187th donation. I started by accompanying my father when I was 18 years old. It was at L’arc in 1969. I have a large number of donations because platelets and plasma were taken from me at the same time. We can all need blood products. I also gave at my place of work at France Telecom avenue de Verdun. I feel like I was helpful, but it still makes me feel old. Gosh ! »
And the last by Maria Szkudlarek
“I have little time left because I will be 71 on August 16. I gave either to Torcy or to Le Creusot. We lack blood, it’s a gesture that costs nothing and can save lives. I have someone in my family who needed blood. I don’t feel like I’m old, but hey, there has to be an age limit. Young people need to be motivated, because more and more people think only of themselves. »
