Julius Caesar Castiglioni, a lawyer who is part of the Fuerza Popular team, assured that “it is not true” that all the appeals presented by this political group in the framework of the second round of the 2021 General Elections have been reviewed.
“I have seen apparently serious press media that say that the 800 minutes have already been seen, that everything has been resolved and it is not true”, affirmed in dialogue with RPP Noticias.
Castiglioni He explained that 70 appeals presented in the corresponding instances have been resolved and only three have been published in the official newspaper El Peruano.
“Last Saturday we saw 10 nullities from Chile, on Sunday 16 from Moyobamba. On Monday, the hearings on records with material errors began […] We have reached yesterday [sábado] to 70 and today [domingo] eight will be seen, 78 minutes of which three have been published in the official newspaper El Peruano, from there there are no more ”, detailed.
Last Thursday, Fuerza Popular reported 946 requests for annulment registered, considering its interpretation of the extension of the filing period.

Castiglioni He criticized that the National Elections Jury (JNE) refuses to provide the voter registry of those who voted at the contested tables in the second round of elections.
