Last year he held Leiden in his grip: the now 22-year-old Jasin A. After two rapes and one sexual assault, students hardly dared to walk the streets alone at night. On Friday, the court in The Hague imposed a prison sentence of four years, one year of which was suspended. Reason for lawyer Richard Korver to argue that the law should be amended. He believes that perpetrators of this type of crime should be punished more severely, without this being at the expense of being allowed to impose conditions.
