Artois Mobilités, which manages the TADAO network, had decided to serve the stadium, from 2019, through Bulle 1 (Hénin-Beaumont / Lens / Liévin) and Bulle 3 (Vendin-le-Vieil / Lens / Avion). If the service exists, the observation is that it is little used. For there to be a real change in habits, it is essential that the service provided is more practical, less time-consuming and carried out at an affordable price.
The Artois Mobilités teams have therefore teamed up with the Racing Club de Lens to offer fans a completely new experience. If the show is provided by Racing in the stadium, Artois Mobilités guarantees you access to the stands and exit from Lens in less than 15 minutes.
The device is based on the principle of relay parking. We invite fans to come and park their vehicle at the covered Arena de Liévin stadium, perfectly suited for large flows and above all in total safety. The first shuttle leaves 2 hours before kick-off. Subsequently a shuttle leaves from the parking lot of the Arena every 10 minutes. The route is direct, i.e. without intermediate stops, to the Bollaert-Delelis stadium. Travel times are guaranteed thanks to the existing bus lane on the Bolla 1 route. The tests carried out during the first 4 games of the season allow us to guarantee a travel time between 12 and 15 minutes maximum. The last start will take place 20 minutes before kick-off to make sure you are on time in the stands.
At the end of the match, at least 6 shuttles will wait for the fans in the bus lane, then there will be a departure every 7 minutes, for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Here, too, travel times are guaranteed.
So, for the fans, it is now possible to get to their car and be out of Lens in under 20 minutes. Something that is almost impossible today.
