JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Pertamina (Persero) officially raised the price of non-subsidized fuel oil (BBM) on July 10, 2022. Fuel price The ones that underwent adjustments were Pertamax Turbo (RON 98), Dexlite (CN 51), and Pertamina Dex (CN 53).
Pertamax Price Turbo (RON 98) by Pertamina Gas Station sold for Rp 16,200 per liter to Rp 16,900 per liter. Furthermore, the price of Dexlite (CN 51) is sold for Rp. 15,000 per liter to Rp. 15,700 per liter. For the price of Pertamina Dex (CN 53) it is priced at Rp. 16,500 per liter to Rp. 17,200 per liter.
Adjustment fuel prices The non-subsidized refers to the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) of ESDM No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning Basic Price Formula in Calculation of Retail Sales Prices for General Types of Fuel Oil, Types of Gasoline and Diesel Oil Channeled through Public Fuel Filling Stations.

Meanwhile, the price of non-subsidized Pertamax fuel did not change. The price of Pertamax is still sold at Rp 12,500 per liter to Rp 13,000 per liter. Likewise, subsidized fuel prices such as Pertalite are still sold for Rp. 7,650 per liter.
Previously, the Government through the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) claimed to have paid off compensation debts for the distribution of fuel oil (BBM) and subsidized electricity carried out throughout 2021 to PT Pertamina (Persero) and PT PLN (Persero).
Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati in her presentation stated that the total debt for compensation for fuel and electricity until 2021 had all been settled in the first semester of 2022.

He said compensation was given to hold back the increase in fuel and electricity prices. “This is to prevent pass-through to the public, if the pass-through will be very shocking in terms of inflation,” he said at a press conference on the State Budget KiTa, Wednesday (27/7/2022).
As of July 1, 2022, Pertamina has received payment from the government for compensation debt in 2021 amounting to Rp 64.5 trillion. Meanwhile, PLN received compensation payments from the government of Rp 24.6 trillion for the electricity stimulus scheme throughout 2021.
