The president of the PNV, Andoni Ortuzar, on Tuesday asked the Government to seek a political solution to the decline in the state of alarm on May 9 through a “bridge legislation” that covers the restrictions to control the epidemic. Ortuzar has indicated May 5, the day after the elections in Madrid, as the date to seek “a solution.” For his part, the leader of EH Bildu, Arnaldo Otegi, has asked to extend the state of alarm, as has his party colleague and spokesperson in Congress, Mertxe Aizpurua. For his part, Joan Baldoví, spokesperson for Compromís, has asked the Government for a Conference of Autonomous Presidents. Pedro Sánchez will appear this Tuesday after the meeting of the Council of Ministers to report on the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan of the economy after the coronavirus pandemic.
