Tesla competitor Nio exceeds expectations in the first quarter

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Nio did well in the first quarter despite the corona pandemic. The company delivered 3,838 vehicles in the first three months of the year. A decrease compared to 8,224 cars in the fourth quarter of 2019 and 3,989 in the same period last year. Revenues totaled approximately $ 194 million, which is above the $ 180 million expected by analysts. The recorded loss of 23 cents per share was also not as bad as expected by the market.
