Last month was the hottest September ever recorded | Inland

September this year was already the third month that the organization has labeled the hottest ever. Previously, January and May were found to have had temperatures with record highs. Every month this year was among the top four in terms of temperature.

Unusually high temperatures were recorded in Northern Siberia, the Middle East, and parts of South America and Australia last month.
