Highlights from the statements of the Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk:
We said that we will open schools together by inviting everyone to be responsible. In this process, we, as the Ministry, have studied all the details regarding physical and social competences in order to open our schools safely. We have completed our preparations. We are opening schools with distance education on 31 August 2020. On September 21, face-to-face education will begin gradually and in dilution, in the classes recommended by the Scientific Committee. Private schools will be able to start their education activities with distance education tools as of 17 August.
We prepared some guides. Standards about what to do during breaks and similar situations are included in these guidelines. As the ministry, we will be on the field throughout the whole process.
