The reconnaissance vehicle, which landed on the Red Planet, took more than 23,000 photos, in addition to imaging its own landing. The unusual photos were the result of the camera not yet being set up on land. “These videos and these images seem out of our dreams,” said NASA systems engineer Al Chen. The unique photos published by NASA were served to the world by Reuters news agency.
