Sharing his message on April 23 before the National Anthem, Erdoğan said:
* I congratulate the Children’s Day of all children. I am grateful to all our martyrs and veterans with gratitude, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the leader of our republic.
* Our Grand National Assembly, which was opened in Ankara exactly a century ago, became the center of our nation’s and state’s freedom struggle at a time when our homeland was occupied.
* The late Mehmet Akif Ersoy wrote our National Anthem not with his pen, but with the ecstasy that came out of every part of his heart. Government of the Republic of Turkey unity, solidarity, brotherhood and solidarity is built on the concept.
* Today, we continue our fight against the coronavirus epidemic with the same determination, faith and hope. It is the most important symbol of democracy, national will and nation domination on April 23.
* It is a sign of the value that our nation gives to its children on April 23 and their trust in their youth. We believe that we will overcome this calamity with the permission and grace of Allah, the pride and sacrifice of our cherished nation.
* I commemorate our martyrs and veterans who have given us this homeland with gratitude and congratulate our children and the children of the world. I congratulate Ramazan-ı Şerifi, who will perform the first tarawih prayer of our nation and the entire Islamic world tonight, and make his first sahur.
