Larry King, heartbreak on social media: “I lost two children, senseless pain” – Foreign

New York, 23 August 2020 – Ha lost two children in three weeks. An unimaginable and unfair pain. An agony that Larry King, famous American journalist ‘face’ of the Cnn, he tells with a broken heart on his social profiles. The reporter lost Andy in late July and Chaia earlier this week. The first, who died suddenly struck down by a heart attack last July 28, was 65 years old. Chaia instead of years she was 52 and taking her away, on 20 August, was the lung cancer that had recently been diagnosed.

Larry King writes on Facebook: “It is with great sadness and the broken heart of a father which I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy and Chaia King. They were good and kind souls, and we will miss them very much. Losing them is such a senseless feeling. No parent should bury their children. ”
King has been married 7 times. He had had Chaia with his ex-wife Alene Akins and had adopted Andy, born of a previous marriage of Alene. The couple divorced and remarried in 1967, and then divorced again in 1971. The journalist wrote a children’s book on the matter together with his daughter Chaia, which came out in 1997. King has four other children. The greatest suffering but not the only one that has hit the journalist in the last year, an annus horribilis that saw him risk his life himself for a heart attack followed by a heart surgery last May, three months after the divorce, after 22 years of marriage, with his wife Shawn Southwick.
The journalist hosted the Larry King Live talk show on CNN from 1985 to 2010: for more than a generation he interviewed powerful people, VIPs, celebrities, intellectuals and protagonists of American news events. An unmistakable face, as well as the posture of that bust for which little changed, including braces, one of its distinctive features. What changed was not the look, but only the background graphics to keep up with the style of the times. He currently hosts Larry King Now on Hulu and RT America, as well as Sunday’s Politicking with Larry King on the same two online channels.
