Fort Collins, CO – Larimer County families have expanded access to vital immunizations as the Larimer County Department of Health & Habitat (LCDHE) launches a series of free and low-cost back-to-school vaccine clinics throughout September, October, and November. The initiative aims to ensure students are current on required vaccinations and to provide accessible flu shots for eligible individuals.
These clinics address a critical need for families facing financial barriers to healthcare. Open to children ages 4 and older, and their families who are uninsured, underinsured, or enrolled in most Medicaid plans, the clinics offer essential protection against preventable diseases. With school immunization requirements in effect, and the approaching flu season, the LCDHE is proactively working to safeguard the health of the community.
The clinics will provide children with all school-required vaccines, subject to availability, and adults with the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine. Flu shots will also be available for those who qualify. Families should bring any existing vaccine records and school-issued vaccine requirement letters to their appointment.
