Landslide kills 11 in southeast China

Eleven individuals died on Sunday, July 28, 2024, because of a landslide that hit a residential constructing in southeastern China, Zakon.kz stories.

Based on state broadcaster CCTV, the landslide hit a home round 8:00 am in Yelin village, which is in Hunan province. An earlier report mentioned that 18 individuals had been trapped by the landslide and that six injured individuals had been rescued. The destiny of one other individual will not be specified.

Based on media stories, the landslide was brought on by water flowing down the mountains throughout heavy rain.

The China Meteorological Administration mentioned rain related to a tropical storm hit southeastern elements of Hunan province on Saturday, July 27. Apparently, we’re speaking about Storm Gaemi.
