Landjugend Salzburg – Online Seminar: Beginners and advanced seminars 2021: Around 90 young people in 7 different workshops

On February 27, 2021, the annual beginners and advanced seminar took place. 90 inquisitive young people from all parts of Salzburg acquired knowledge and practical know-how online in seven different workshops. With 350 hours of education collected, the young people clearly showed how important it is to continue their education outside of school, apprenticeship or job, whether online or in face-to-face form.

The participants chose from the seven workshops “Positive Mindset”, “Rhetoric for Beginners”, “Hand Lettering”, Social Media Workshop “,” Goal and Time Management “,” Communication in Conflict Situations “and” Body Language, Radiance & Charisma “. The aim of the individual workshops was to promote the skills and personal development of the young people. The new knowledge and the skills learned can now be put into practice in everyday rural youth.

The workshop “Body language, charisma and charisma” in particular opened up important aspects for the participants personally and for the voluntary work in rural youth. “You can do anything you want. The key is to tackle it. Speaker Josef Moser gave us very informative and simple information about what was important, ”said Hannah Ebster, rural youth St. Johann, after the course.
Speaker Lena Holzer is convinced that “a positive mindset helps you be happy”. In their course, the participants learned how each individual can use his or her mental strength. “Time and goal management” was the title of the course with speaker Elisabeth Huber. 15 participants learned how leisure, work and hobbies can best be reconciled. Interesting facts about target achievement and optimized time management were on the agenda.
For speaker Michaela Gassner, everything revolved around rhetoric. The participants learned which basics are important when presenting. There was also a video analysis to see how each person affects others personally. The hand lettering workshop with Sabina Stadler was very creative. Step by step to a successful typeface that the 9 participants each created in front of the screen at home. “Starting with the basics through to the result, a finished picture and a birthday card, Sabina introduced us to the world of ‘letters'”, was the conclusion of Bernadette Rieder, rural youth in Niedernsill.
Most people probably know that things are not always positive or rosy. In order to be able to communicate in a solution-oriented manner even in conflict situations, some members attended the appropriate workshop in the afternoon with speaker Lena Holzer.
Facebook, Instagram and Co. were scrutinized by the “Social Media Workshop” group. “How does our rural youth account stand out from the flood of content? That was the central question at the workshop. Due to the amount of information that we received from Julia Hieger, some rural youth accounts will certainly shine in a new light, ”said Christiane Prodinger (rural youth Tamsweg).

“The seminar for beginners and promoters was again a complete success. The participants were enthusiastic about the large selection and variety of the courses on offer. My favorite was definitely the ‘Social Media’ workshop with Julia Hieger. With their helpful information and tools, I can take a lot with me for my professional, private and rural youth day-to-day life, ”says Markus Ertl, Deputy Country Manager, enthusiastically describing his impression of the day of the seminar.

The introductory and advanced seminar was the first highlight in this year’s educational offer. In the coming months, the district and state decisions as well as a diverse course program will already be pending for the members.
