San Francisco (ots/PRNewswire)

With TAS, developers can accelerate their testing and achieve a faster time to market

LambdaTest, a leading cloud platform for continuous quality testing, recently launched Test-at-Scale (TAS), a test intelligence and observability platform to help development teams test in shifts.

Organizations today rely heavily on automation testing to speed up their development cycles, but developers still face long waits for feedback as many unnecessary tests are performed, resulting in clogged pipelines, low productivity, lack of clarity, and slower release cycles leads.

TAS solves this ingrained problem with its three-part solution – intelligent test selection, end-to-end test management, and deep analytics.

Smart Test Selection intelligently interprets and executes only the relevant subset of tests affected by the code update or change. This allows teams to reduce testing time by 95%. Failing test management helps users find, flag, quarantine, and manage failed tests.

In addition, development teams and decision makers can easily gain insight into KPIs such as Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Flake Rate and Common Failed Tests to improve decision making.

TAS currently supports Mocha, Jest, and Jasmine for testing JavaScript codebases, and plans to expand product support for Java, Python, and Golang in the near future.

“In today’s demanding world of software development, testing is everyone’s responsibility. Developers, QAs, and decision makers must work together to ensure a bug-free product. Shift-left testing is the need of the hour, and TAS will help companies do just that,” said Asad Khan, CEO of LambdaTest. “TAS was previously in beta, but we believe the time is now that the world is witnessing TAS. Development teams can easily integrate TAS into their existing CI/CD pipeline and the results will be visible immediately. TAS is open source and we welcome community contributions to help developers realize the full potential of the platform can exploit.”

LambdaTest recently raised $45 million in a venture round led by Premji Invest with participation from existing investors. The company also launched HyperExecute, a next-generation intelligent test orchestration platform that helps testers and developers run end-to-end automation tests at the fastest possible speed.

LambdaTest’s platform is used by over a million developers and testers worldwide. The company has conducted more than 100 million tests since its inception and has grown its business by 300% in the last year. With the company’s offerings, its customers have reduced time to market by 95%, increased release productivity by 62%, and identified 67% of issues before going to market.
