CUPERTINO, iNews.id – Apple predicted to launch the successor to AirPods Pro in 2022. The prediction was conveyed by renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
In a note to investors, Kuo predicts the 2022 launch of the so-called AirPods Pro 2 device. Unfortunately, these earbuds come with minimal innovation.
“Even without the innovative update on AirPods Pro 2 in 2022, Apple’s total TWS device shipments will return to more than 100 million by 2022,” Kuo said, quoted by Apple Insider, Thursday (1/7/2021).
Kuo revised his AirPods shipment forecast to 70 million to 75 million units due to lower-than-expected demand for wearables in the second quarter of 2021.
