La Puerta del Perdón and Cantariña, Villafranquina alliance for demanding palates | Radio Bierzo

The ‘Cantariña’ menu at Puerta del Perdón will consist of a starter, first course and dessert paired with wines from the Villafranquina winery, which combines the heritage of old family vineyards with the spirit of innovation of the new generations of the family.

The chefs of the unique restaurant La Puerta del Perdón, Marta Cisneros and Pancho García, have prepared a select proposal for the occasion consisting of a smoked cod on berciano tomato sauce and field herbs, baby squid with artichokes on wild rice with blueberry and mint mayonnaise, and oxtail stew. The wines that will pair, in that order, will be ‘La Garnacha 2015’, ‘La Blanca 2018’ and ‘Viña de los Pinos 2017’.

The price of the menu will be 35 euros and will be offered from July 17 to August 16 from Tuesday to Sunday at noon.
