“From a year that most of us would love to forget, comes an impressive collection of films that we will always remember. For the film industry, 2020 will be remembered both for the works that fed our souls and for the ways in which world events changed film habits. The impact of the artistic expression of this year’s nominees reminds us that the size of a screen, or where we watch it, matters less than the quality of what we see, “said Doug Harris, president of the Society.
