The 17th day of Ligue 1 continued this Sunday at 1 p.m. with the Saint-Etienne-Rennes poster. The Greens are at their worst after a terrible 5-0 defeat at home against a Breton team which is comfortable in 2nd position.
With the former Lensois Loïc Badé on the bench and Benjamin Bourigeaud holder, Rennes took the upper hand thanks to a hat-trick from Martin Terrier, author in particular of a Madjer (22 ‘, 28’, 48 ‘), each time on a pass from Croatian Lovro Majer. Yvann Maçon scored against his own camp on the 3rd Rennes goal (45 ‘). Lesley Ugochukwu, 17, scored the 5th goal (83’). A goal applauded by a disappointed Geoffrey-Guichard. Note that Saint-Etienne wore like the RC Lens a black and gold jersey for Sainte-Barbe. It was not a collector’s jersey but the 3rd Saint-Etienne jersey, however designed by Le Coq Sportif in homage to the city of Saint-Etienne and its mining area. Trained at RC Lens, Timothée Kolodziejczak was titular in the defense of the Greens. In the standings, Rennes is 2nd (31 points) behind PSG (42). RC Lens is 5th (27). Saint-Etienne passes the red lantern (12, -20) behind Bordeaux (13) and Metz (12, -15). The rest of the day at 3 p.m. with the multiplex.
