The practical year of the KV 4.0

The practical year consists of 4 modules:

Looking beyond one’s own nose opens up new horizons. KV4.0 learners should get an insight into other companies during their training. The temporary change to an unknown industry or even another profession makes it possible to get to know new tasks and processes, but also corporate cultures and framework conditions.

• Practice project

Action and practical orientation are central elements of the training. Only those who solve real problems can acquire long-term skills. The learners receive a real problem, which has to be solved on time and in a practical way. The clients are the partner companies KV4.0. You will ultimately appreciate and evaluate the result. During the project, the students are trained in disciplines such as project management, web design, presentation technology, etc. A coach supervises and supports you throughout the entire process.

• Foreign assignment

An assignment abroad is exciting, instructive and attractive. It is a great challenge for every young person to assert oneself professionally and privately in a completely foreign environment. The reward for this is a priceless wealth of experience and the personal maturation process. After an intensive language course, the apprentices KV4.0 complete a company internship in England for three and a half months. You enjoy “home hospitality” with a host family the whole time.

• Onboarding

During the internship year, the KV4.0 participant is repeatedly confronted with new situations. Both the course of each module and the re-entry into the final third year of the apprenticeship place special demands on the learners. You will therefore be actively supported in each of these steps.
