At the end of the regular season of the National Basketball Association (NBA) at the big game time on Sunday, August 9, was Rodion Kuruc, but the unit he represented in Brooklyn’s “Nets” with 129: 120 (45:24, 29:39, 24:31, 31: 26) defeated the Los Angeles Clippers, vice-leader of the Western Conference.

With the victory, the Nets secured seventh place in the final standings of the NBA Eastern Conference and will play off the first round of the current NBA championship team, the Toronto Raptors.
Kurucs started the match in the Nets line-up, played 31:01 minutes, scoring seven points, winning five rebounds, making four assists and intercepting one opponent’s pass, but also making four errors and earning two notes. The Latvian basketball player took one of the four long shots and both two-point shots.
The Brooklyn team led almost the entire game, only twice in the third quarter the Clippers were able to equalize the result. The best in the Nets was Cariss Leverts, who scored 27 points and 13 assists, 25 points for Joe Harris, 21 points for Tyler Johnson, 19 points for Gareth Timplet, and Jaret Allen for 16 points and 16 rebounds. In the Clippers, Kavi Leonard was the top scorer with 39 points, Lou Williams scored 18 points, Marcus Maurice scored 15 points and Terans Mans scored 14 points.
