Russian TV diva Ksenia Sobchak is accused of fraud. The fact is that Ksenia recently launched a personal education course called “The Sobchak Method”, which many did not like.
The cost of the most expensive program reaches 600 thousand rubles (10,400 euros). VIP customers were promised an interview with a journalist, as well as an internship. However, many buyers expressed dissatisfaction with the course.
The announcement of the course participants was published on her page by lawyer Ekaterina Gordone. According to the buyers of the courses, Sobchak promised them to send her voice messages, give interviews, participate in live broadcasts together and provide access to a closed club. However, they see none of it.
Now the journalist is being accused of fraud and the buyers of Ursa are demanding that she be prosecuted. According to the victims, they lost 1.5 million rubles (26,000 euros).
Ksenia Sobchak decided not to remain silent and comment on the situation. “Big fish are always in big trouble. When you’re a small and unknown player in the online course market, you can do anything and you’ll be blown away. But as soon as Sobchak decides to pursue a serious education, expect trouble from every corner. When we opened the sale, my team me informed me that three people who paid for the VIP package have teamed up to “expose” my course. I asked what to expose because the course had not yet started. They said they would find something to expose. As a result, it is impossible to expose Sobchak, but it is possible to create a mystical group of “dissatisfied”, Sobchak wrote on social networks.
The journalist plans to continue creating personal education courses.
