Latvian national handball player Dainis Krištopāns On Thursday, the European Handball Federation (EHF) scored three goals in a Champions League game and helped Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) win their third success of the season.
PSG won the “Porto” from Portugal for the second time in eight days in the group A home game with 29:28 (15:11).
Krištopāns scored all three shots on the goal, as well as earned a yellow card.
PSG’s top performer was Mikels Hansen, who stood out with nine goals in 11 shots.
The team represented by the Latvian handball player with six points in six matches in group A overtook “Porto” and takes the fourth place among eight teams.
In the Champions League, 16 teams are divided into two groups of eight each, playing a two-lap tournament. The winners of the first two places of the group will qualify for the quarter-finals, but the winners of the third to sixth places will compete for the best place in the first eight of the elimination tournament.
It has already been reported that the competitions of the best four teams of the 2019/2020 tournament, in which PSG will also participate, have not been played yet. They will take place in Cologne, Germany, on 28 and 29 December.
