Kristīne Kunicka’s exhibition “Crowns and Cubism” will be on view at the Polish Cultural Center

The Polish Culture Center invites you to the opening of the exhibition “KK” or “Crowns and Cubism” by Kristīne Kuņicka, a translator, journalist and activist of the Polish Union of Latvia, which will take place in 2023. On February 9 at 16.00 at the Polish House (30 Varšavas Street).

Crowns made by Kristine and acrylic paintings in cubist style will be on display at the exhibition. As a creative personality, Kristina likes to express herself in various fields. Participation in the crown making master class in the spring of 2017 became the impetus for starting making crowns. The beautiful and practical crowns made in less than six years have gone to various European countries and corners of Latvia.

The acrylic paintings created under the influence of Cubism began to be created a year ago. One day, in January 2022, Kristine drew several sketches, which she decided to transfer to the canvas. During the year, the author created a small collection of paintings.
