The head of the IMF was accused of falsifying data on China by the World Bank
The managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, today denounced the independent report on her alleged role in the fake data scandal about China when she was at the World Bank, Reuters reported.

She told the IMF’s board that the report, prepared by WilmerHale law firm, contained fundamental errors. Georgieva called the report’s conclusion “outrageous” that she had pressured World Bank officials to manipulate data to boost China’s position in the Doing Business ranking.
