Kreplak questioned the Mar del Plata judge who banned the child vaccination campaign

“Why would a judge cause such outrage, bringing confusion and anguish? Scientifically all vaccines are proven, safe and give results for all population groups. From the youngest to the elderly,” Kreplak wrote on his Twitter account. .

The head of the 4 Federal Court of Mar del Plata, Alfredo López, today ordered the suspension of the vaccination campaign promoted by the Ministry of Health to immunize infants and children between six months and 16 years of age against the coronavirus.

The judge, who last year was the protagonist of a strong judicial controversy by blocking the law of Legal Interruption of Pregnancy (IVE) throughout the country, resolved the suspensive provision by suspending the appeal for protection requested by the lawyer Julio Razona.

“We are in a complex epidemiological moment in which getting vaccinated is once again essential to continue living with all the normality achieved. We must get vaccinated. Everyone. Let’s update the doses,” said Krepelak.

The minister assured that this same court “had already ruled” against the health pass and the full implementation of the voluntary termination of pregnancy.

“It makes me think that, far from delivering justice, he wants to put on a show and get some cover in the newspapers,” said the minister.

Kreplak had asked the population to complete the coronavirus vaccination schemes “to face the summer with immunity in the event of a resurgence of the disease”.

“Cases are increasing all over the world, there is a regrowth in the United States, Europe and Brazil, and infections have also increased in the country for a week. So it is the right time to get vaccinated and face the summer with immunity, the official said in statements to Radio Provincia.

In this context, the head of the health portfolio highlighted the need for people over 50, health personnel, those with comorbidities and who received their second booster more than four months ago “to participate in any vaccination and the dose against the coronavirus applies”.

The vaccine is applied liberally and at the federal level in any vaccination of the Covid-19 campaign in the province of Buenos Aires, which can be consulted at https://bit.ly/3TREVaR.

“It is very important to administer all doses of the vaccine,” Kreplak insisted, recalling that “children under 3 have a two-dose schedule, with no booster; people between 3 and 17 must have three doses; from 18 years are four applications; and all over-50s and over-18s with comorbidities, five doses”.

While acknowledging that the increase in cases “has no more impact than in respiratory symptoms, as there is no growth in hospitalizations,” he said “elderly people with an extra dose reduce the risk of hospitalizations and deaths.”
