In June, Kravchuk was absent from the ceremonial meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Ukrainian Constitution.
The first president of independent Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG in Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, for the first time in 30 years, will not come to the celebrations dedicated to the Independence Day. On Wednesday, August 18, his press secretary Oksana Sibirtseva told about this, informs “Focus”.
Sibirtseva refused to talk about the state of health of the first president, only noted that for today he had no plans to attend the holiday.
“Unfortunately, there is no news,” she said.
Note that on June 28, the first president was absent from the ceremonial meeting of the parliament on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine.
In past years, Kravchuk always attended events dedicated to the anniversary of Independence, along with other Ukrainian presidents.
We will remind, on June 29, the media wrote that Kravchuk underwent heart surgery… The operation went according to plan and without any side problems, said a source close to Leonid Kravchuk.
