Rumors have flourished in recent weeks. Now the thing is done.
The 32-year-old national team striker Kosovar Asllani is ready for a move to the Italian top club AC Milan.
She most recently came from Real Madrid, where it was two seasons.
“I’m proud”
The contract with Milan is valid over 2024. During the recently concluded season, Milan finished third in the ladies’ Serie A.
“It feels very exciting. I’m proud, ”Asllani wrote on social media.
Asllani – who has previously represented PSG, Manchester City and Chicago Red Stars, among others – will now be a rival with national team colleagues Lina Hurtig, Linda Sembrant and Amanda Nildén.
