Kosher quits the Dancing with the Stars show.

In previous live shows, the pair have entertained us with jive, cha cha cha, Viennese waltz, samba, tango, pasodoble, quickstep and rumba, but in this live show we were treated to a slow foxtrot and repeated cha cha cha dancing . Jānis Šipkēvics joined them on stage this week, who performed the song “Apvij rokas” live.

“For me and Paula, Latvia is associated with beautiful nature, fabulous forests and the feeling of being at home. Whenever I have lived outside Latvia and feel homesick, I listen to Latvian music. Tonight we will both make the our little dream, because our favorite Latvian artist will be on stage with us,” Kašer shared his feelings ahead of the show.

“Your atmospheric dance contained many very beautiful images that could be compared to Rosenthal’s paintings. These images were very heartfelt, beautiful, emotional and alive for you. In my opinion, you argued a bit among yourself in the dance, you argued a bit with the movements”, jury representative Jānis Purviņš evaluated their performance after the first performance.

This evening, Jānis Pētersons and Olena Cherekova got the highest score – 30 points – twice from the jury, which moved jury representative Marta Kalēju-Irbi, as well as Maksims Busels and Liza Manija, with their first performance. Kasher and Paula Kukute won the audience sympathy award at the end of the night.

In just one week, five couples will take to the stage, vying for a chance to advance to the semi-finals. We will see Elina Bojarkina and Marta Punina, Jānis Peterson and Olena Cherekova, Ruta Dvinska and Viktor Kharitonova, Aminat and Maks Kravchenko, and Maksim Busela and Liza Manija.
