Key players Moon Ji-yun (Heungkuk Life, 18 points) and kang So-hui (Korea Highway Corporation, 14 points) were instrumental in securing the win.
This victory follows a challenging series of matches for Korea, including defeats against Argentina (1-3), France (2-3), and Sweden (1-3). The last time Korea defeated Japan was on July 31, 2021, during the Tokyo Olympics.
