Famous South Korean comedian Yoo Jae-suk confirmed positive Covid-19. Yoo Jae-suk’s agency, Antenna, announced the members’ test results Running Man it came on Monday (13/12).
“Yoo Jae-suk got a positive result on the Covid-19 test carried out on December 13, 2021,” said Antenna, as reported by Donga via Naver, Monday (13/12).
The agency said Yoo Jae-suk immediately underwent a PCR test after knowing he had close contact with a positive case on December 11, 2021.
However, at that time, the results obtained were negative. After undergoing monitoring for several days, Yoo Jae-suk again underwent a PCR test today and got a positive result.
As a result, now Yoo Jae-suk is known not to appear on several TV shows in South Korea until his condition has recovered.

1. Running Man
The production team for the variety show Running Man announced that they were still filming on Monday (13/12). However, the shooting was carried out without Yoo Jae-suk.
“Filming is continuing without Yoo Jae-suk, but we haven’t decided on our plans for filming in the future,” SBS wrote.
The Running Man production team confirmed that the crew member and the other six members had no contact with Yoo Jae-suk. They also tested negative for Covid-19 after conducting a self-test.
Yoo Jae-suk is a permanent member of Running Man since it first aired in 2010 until now.
Besides Yoo Jae-suk, Running Man also has six other members namely, Ji Seok-jin, Kim Jong-kook, HaHa, Song Ji-hyo, Jeon So-min, and Yang Se-chan.
2. How Do You Play?
How Do You Play? stated that all the cast and crew of the show immediately carried out a PCR test after learning that Yoo Jae-suk was confirmed positive for Covid-19. They also canceled an episode of the Dotori Festival that was scheduled to air on December 15, 2021.
“We contacted the winners of the festival and we will release more information about the new schedule once the safety of our audience and artists is confirmed,” wrote the production team of How Do You Play?.
While waiting for Yoo Jae-suk to return to filming, the production team of How Do You Play? will continue to follow Covid-19 guidelines and continue to broadcast events as usual.
