The communication consultancy Torres y Carrera launches the Komoda News platform, a space for health, nutrition, lifestyle and well-being content with the aim of bringing together different voices of professionals who contribute to a better knowledge of these areas and to a reflection based on rigor.
Komoda News takes over from “Komoda, life without energy”, documentary premiered in May 2019 and that during the last year was broadcast on AMC’s Odyssey Channel. In this work, led by Nicolás Coronado, the consultant addressed the impact of so-called social fatigue in areas such as work, personal relationships, health or nutrition. Now, in its new format, the project maintains its exploratory spirit through authorized voices that analyze key aspects of these areas.
The last few years have demonstrated a growing social concern in fields that until not long ago were strictly disclosed from an academic perspective. This clearly positive social opening has no going backwards, but is threatened by the proliferation of fake news. At a time when Torres y Carrera is developing together with the Complutense University of Madrid a social innovation project on hoaxes on social networks, Komoda News is presented as a new initiative to fight misinformation in the digital space.
The Komoda project was created in December 2018 by TYC and, in addition to the documentary, it also featured a demoscopic research that indicated that 70% of Spaniards felt tired or very tired and the relationship between this fatigue and the modes of rest and feeding. Last year he received a Golden World Award from IPRA (International Public Relation Association), the most important award in the sector worldwide.
